Learn the ancient craft of basket weaving in our full day workshops. Make a berry basket, mini frame basket or foraging basket with leading expert weavers and take home a beautiful handwoven basket to use at home or outdoors.​​

Rag Rug making with Ragged Life
A full-day workshop designed to give you all the skills you need to be able to start any rag rug project for yourself at home. Learn the traditional shaggy, short shaggy and loopy techniques of rag rugging into hessian, whilst making a project of your choice.

Natural Yarn Dyeing with British Wool
Explore the world of natural dyes in this half day workshop with Bristol textile designer and natural dyer Ria Burns. With Ria’s help, you’ll learn how to naturally dye a selection of British wool yarns with homegrown and foraged plants, and food waste.
You’ll finish with eight mini skeins of your own custom dyed yarn for knitting, crochet or weaving to create a completely unique piece.

Christmas Project Workshop-
shaggy wreath or hooked bauble
In this full day class class with Ragged Life, you can choose your project, either a festive shaggy wreath (full size or mini) or a charming hooked bauble. Whether full-sized or mini, our wreaths are perfect to jazz up your Christmas tree, mantlepiece or front door, but the sky's the limit in terms of what you can use them for. £80 inc materials & refreshments
