Learn the ancient craft of basket weaving in our full day workshops. Make a berry basket, mini frame basket or foraging basket with leading expert weaver Mary Lewis and take home a beautiful handwoven basket to use at home or outdoors.

Rag Rug making
In this relaxed and creative beginners’ class, you will learn the traditional shaggy, short shaggy and loopy techniques of rag rugging into hessian, whilst making a project of your choice, (rug / cushion / everlasting flower bouquet/ tote bag)
Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to rummage in our treasure trove of fabrics and experiment with a wide range of different textures and colourways.
It’s a perfect day spent with like-minded crafters, all in a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. £80

Natural Yarn Dyeing
Explore the world of natural dyes in this half day workshop with Bristol textile designer and natural dyer Ria Burns. With Ria’s help, you’ll learn how to naturally dye a selection of British wool yarns with homegrown and foraged plants, and food waste.
You’ll finish with eight mini skeins of your own custom dyed yarn for knitting, crochet or weaving to create a completely unique piece. £60
