Fused glass
Try your hand at making your own fused glass art! Create a Bristol Balloon, decorative hanging, glass lantern or a flower panel in a half or full day workshop at our studio in Staple Hill. Choose from a variety of coloured glass and templates and design your own piece to take home. Classes for both adults and children. Booking via the workshop leader's website.
Fused Glass Workshop

​Come and enjoy a fun, informal, and relaxing fused glass taster workshop where you’ll learn the basics of kiln-formed glass techniques while creating your very own glass piece. No previous experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Various project options available. The session lasts approximately 2 hours, but don’t worry – if you need a little extra time to finish your piece, you’re welcome to stay and complete it. Full day workshop option also available.

Children's Halloween fused glass

​Create a Halloween spiderweb design fused glass suncatcher using a variety of pre-cut glass and accessories in an array of beautiful colours!

The lovely thing about making a glass panel as a child is that the finished piece will last forever as the glass does not deteriorate or lose it's colour or shine!

Halloween fused glass

​Create your own vibrant Day of the Dead inspired fused glass skull. Decorate a skull-shaped glass piece using a colourful array of glass including frits, stringers and confetti glass. Templates and design inspiration will be available making it suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.

Christmas Fused Glass
​
​Get in the Christmas spirit and make your own fused glass Christmas tree in this 2 hour workshop with The Glass Cabin. You'll make 2 'tree' decorations which can either be used as hangings or placed in a stand. The decorations are approximately 13cm in height. You can choose from a selection of templates to help guide your design and then pick from an array of pre cut glass and glass accessories to create your trees.
