Our home crafts workshops include a wide range of changing creative classes including rag-rugging, cake decorating, lampshade making and mandala painting. These workshops are run by external tutors so clicking the booking link will take you to their specific booking page.
mandala clock painting​

Spend a full day immersed in mindful creativity as you paint your very own mandala clock in your chosen colours. This relaxing and rewarding workshop is perfect for those who have already enjoyed a beginners’ class or have some crafting experience. You’ll receive everything you need, including a pre-painted wooden disc in your chosen background colour, clock mechanism, hands, and numbers. Over six hours, with plenty of breaks for lunch and refreshments, you’ll learn how to create a stunning mandala design that’s both beautiful and functional — a timeless piece to treasure or gift. There will be optional extra to have your clock coated in resin following the workshop, which will take approximately 1 week.

Lampshade making

If you adore interior styling and want to break free from run of the mill chain store offerings, it’s time to learn a new skill! You will spend the workshop learning how to make a rolled edge drum lampshade of your preferred size (15cm - 40cm in diameter). The course is suitable for complete beginners, simply bring along your own choice of fabric. All other materials are provided.

Terracotta plant pot painting​

Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop where you’ll paint your own terracotta plant pot with a beautiful mandala design. Ideal to be given as a Mothers Day gift as a shared experience!
Perfect for beginners and improvers alike, you’ll learn simple techniques to create intricate patterns and take home a unique piece that’s both decorative and functional. The paints we use are suitable for outdoor use, so your pot can brighten up your garden or make a thoughtful handmade gift. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to give the gift of a workshop, or to create something special for yourself or someone you love for Easter.

Join this relaxed and friendly cupcake decorating class, which is perfect for complete beginners. You’ll learn how to pipe a selection of beautiful floral designs using seasonal colours and beginner-friendly techniques. This class is designed for those new to decorating or looking to build confidence. You’ll get to create a box of six stunning cupcakes to take home!​

introduction to Kintsugi

Join Clara Bethell-Sacks to learn the Japanese art of kintsugi repair for broken ceramics. Spend a relaxed few hours with likeminded folk, mindfully immersed in the processes, tools and materials of kintsugi. You will be supported to complete a repair using epoxy, coated with traditional natural Japanese Urushi (tree sap) lacquer and finished to a stunning gold-hued shine with fine brass powder. Suitable for complete beginners, all tools and materials provided. £50

This intermediate buttercream flowers class is the perfect workshop for those who have piped before and are looking to refine their technique with vibrant, spring-inspired designs. It's an ideal next step if you’ve joined one of my beginner sessions or are already a confident piper. In this hands-on activity, you will learn how to build on your existing skills to create a stunning, gift-worthy box of six floral cupcakes.​ All tools, ingredients, and refreshments are provided.
