Join expert tutor and bag maker Lauren Holloway in this bag making sewing workshop focusing on upcycled materials. Do you have an unused pair of curtains, duvet cover, or even a pair of jeans you'd love to re-purpose into something useful? This is the perfect opportunity to dig into those scraps! In this 3-hour class, you’ll make a beautiful, professionally finished bag using your own fabric, all taught in a relaxed and supportive environment. Suitable for complete beginners or seasoned sewists alike, just come along with your own fabric or clothing item you'd love to turn into a tote you can use for years to come! Lauren will start the class showing you how to thread and use the machine along with providing plenty of tips and tricks on sewing techniques for you to use in future projects. Sewing machines, thread and accessories will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer. ABOUT SUSTAINABLE FASHION WEEK - 26th September to 4th October Clothes matter.
