Course description
Spend a creative and colourful morning together in this parent & child crochet workshop. Over this relaxed 3-hour session, you’ll work side-by-side to create your own playful pompom and crochet bunting while learning the basics of crochet in a fun and supportive environment. Together, you will explore simple crochet techniques and experiment with a variety of pompom styles, textures, and colours to design a unique decorative bunting to take home. This workshop is designed to encourage creativity, connection, and shared making time between parent and child — no previous crochet experience needed. All materials and tools are included in the price, so you can simply come along and enjoy creating together. Our expert tutor will guide you both through everything in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where questions are welcome and creativity is encouraged. This workshop is created as a shared experience for parents and children (9 years and older), but it’s just as perfect for grandparents and grandchildren, or any duo who would love to learn something new together. Whether you’re 9 or 90, crochet is a beautiful way to slow down, connect, and create side by side. The class is taught in right-handed technique but if your child is left-handed please let us know on booking. Price includes crochet hook, stitch marker, yarn needle, yarn and step by step instructions. Taught by certified crochet instructor Cristina Valladares who teaches regular courses and workshops in Bristol and surroundings. She also offers one to one tuition or ad hoc workshops. Workshop price is for two participants and cost £65 including materials.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by Creative Space: • In the event we need to cancel the course or workshop for whatever reason you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date free of charge. Cancellations by the attendee: • For courses booked and paid directly through Creative Space a refund of 85% will be given up to 14 days prior to the course start date. The fee is to allow for admin and payment processing costs. If a student cancels within 14 days we are unable to offer a refund. • If your circumstances change e.g. due to work commitments, childcare issues, moving away etc. a refund will not be given within 14 days of the workshop. • We consider all requests on an individual basis, depending on the circumstances. Rescheduling: • You may transfer to another course or workshop up to 14 days before the start date.
