Create your own unique metal foil sculpture in this mindful two hour craft workshop at our studio in Staple Hill. Discover how lightweight metal foil can be transformed into sculptural and decorative forms inspired by traditional metal embossing and tin craft Participants will create a decorative wall hanging using metal foil materials. Through shaping, embossing, cutting, and layering, the workshop explores texture, composition, and the interplay of light and form. This creative and hands-on session encourages experimentation and is suitable for beginners. Participants will take home their own handcrafted metal foil decorative wall hanging. About the Tutor: Amy Chen is an artist and educator specialising in community- based craft and art workshops. Her practice focuses on bridging traditional cultural knowledge with contemporary aesthetics through hands-on learning experiences. She has extensive experience working with families, children, and adult learners, creating inclusive and supportive environments that encourage creativity, confidence, and cultural exchange. Her workshops emphasise storytelling, material exploration, and accessible making processes.
