Dog & Cat Bowl Pottery Workshop
Create two personalised pet bowls in this half day pottery workshop
Available spots
Description
Join us for a 3 hour pottery workshop where you’ll be guided through the slab-building technique to create two dog or cat bowls (one small, one large). You’ll have the opportunity to personalise your pieces with your pet’s name, making it truly special. Once you have created your bowl it will be air-dried in our studio for a week before being taken to a local pottery studio where it will go through it's first firing. It will then be glazed by our ceramicist in a beautiful speckled white finish before going through the second firing process. This craft workshop is perfect for sharing with someone close to you, or simply taking some much-needed time for yourself. A space to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the joy of creating. You will be contacted as soon as your piece is ready for collection. Please allow up to 5 weeks, as each item goes through a careful and delicate firing and glazing process. This workshop is for all abilities and is held in a learner friendly environment. All materials and use of tools are included. Maximum of 10 students. Minimum age to attend is 10 years. Price includes a £10 glazing and firing fee. Tea and coffee is included during the day but please bring your own lunch or pick something up from the local High Street 3 minute walk away. There is ample free parking in the streets outside and around the venue. * Please note - photos of bowls are just for reference and not an exact representation of the finished piece. You'll be offered a speckled white glaze for your bowl.* About the teacher: Rachael Parker is a creative and therapeutic arts practitioner and hand-building pottery facilitator.
