Description

Learn how to carve and make your own festive-themed printing stamps that you can use to decorate wrapping paper, gift tags and Christmas cards! During the class expert printmaker Steph Renshaw will teach you how to carve your lino to make your own little printing stamps which you can use to make your festive cards and gift wrap at home. Steph will guide you through the whole process and advise on the best materials to choose for to make your cards and wrap out of. You’ll take home a little collection of hand-printed stamps that you can keep for your future projects. Perfect for making cards, gift wrap and even decorating fabric – so many possibilities! Minimum age 14 year old, children will need to be accompanied by a paying adult. All materials and tool provided. About the teacher: Steph Renshaw runs 'Bristol Print Room' and has been teaching her printmaking skills since 2017. She specialises in traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut and collagraph and loves to share her passion and creativity for making art with students of all backgrounds and abilities. She teaches small groups and makes sure that everyone gets the support they need for their project. ​
