Come along and make something lovely for your home or garden. On the timetable for the next few months we have stained glass, fused glass, printing, crochet, ceramics and lampshade making and we are always adding more.
Some classes are bookable on this website, otherwise follow the link to book direct with the teacher.
Make a unique feature for your home from your choice of fabric with Hannah Redden Textiles. Lampshade workshops take place on the last Thursday of the month from February. All sessions are 7-9pm

Silver Clay Jewellery
Design and make jewellery using silver clay with Bristol Papillion. This workshop is taught over two consecutive weeks so that you can go away with a finished piece. You will learn about silver and copper clay, make and cast your own moulds from natural materials and fire your piece(s). Includes enough silver clay for one or two pendants, a freshwater pearl for finishing & refreshments. Some workshops are taught over 2 consecutive weeks.

Flowers for your Home
Learn how to make beautiful arrangements for your home using foam-free floristry techniques. Bring your own vase and you will be provided with all the knowledge, flowers and materials you will need to create a stunning arrangement to take home.

Make a lampshade for your home using beautiful handmade paper from Japan and Nepal. Learn how to cut and score restful geometric patterns into the surface, and then roll and finish with a cotton-stitched seam. Your finished lampshade will be 20-25cm in diameter and can be hung as a pendant or used as a table lamp. £85 all materials included
Make a Macrame Plant Hanger
Come and join MAKE Creative Workshops at Creative Space for a creative morning of macramé. In this 2 hour session, you’ll learn a variety of macramé knots giving you the skills to be able to make your own unique plant hanger.

Beginners Punch Needle Embroidery
Needle punch or punch needle, is a modern take on a traditional craft now used to make a whole range of different modern textile items including wall hangings, cushion covers and bags. You will be taught how to use the needle and create different textures. Attendees will create their own punch needle hoop wall hanging from one of Sara’s designs or come with an idea of your own.

Flowers for your Mum
Are you seeing your Mum on Mothering Sunday and you'd like to take her some flowers? Would you like to make the bouquet yourself?
In this workshop you will learn how to make a hand-tied bouquet, in environmentally-friendly packaging. You will choose the flowers yourself from the gorgeous selection provided, arrange them and then finish it off with presentation packaging and note. £42

Come and experience the enticing medium of glass in a fused glass taster workshop with Rachael from the Glass Cabin. Design & create either a Bristol Balloon or rectangular sun-catcher.

This taster fused glass workshop is for beginners and will give you a basic introduction of the techniques involved in kiln-formed glass.
During the 2 hour workshop you will create 2 coasters using pre-cut glass and glass accessories in an array of colours. You will also learn about ‘inclusions’ by adding some metal into your design.
