Lizzie has been doing hand embroidery for 7 years and learnt her skills at a workshop in Bristol. She loves to experiment with threads, colours, sequins and beads and enjoys exploring the variety of different outcomes hand embroidery has to offer. She works from the corner of her flat where she has a cupboard crammed full of crafty goodness. The best part of embroidery is that it's a portable hobby - Lizzie has embroidered on a bus, train, plane and on holiday!
Lizzie's workshops offer a place for participants to explore their creativity. With plenty of materials to experiment with and Lizzie's help to guide on colour, design and techniques - she aims to create a space where people feel relaxed and inspired.
She is currently running seasonal felt ornaments workshops and is looking to run various handmade embroidery workshops soon.

Lizzie hopes that people get a sense of achievement and confidence in their own creative ability on her workshops. It's also a huge win for her when they become less daunted by the craft and really embrace exploring their creativity with the skills learnt.
