Kids Machine Sewing - JUNE (Staple Hill)

Service Description

Ideal if your child or teen is interested in machine sewing but doesn't have the confidence or basic skills to get started. Here, Lauren will teach the basic techniques and students will make a drawstring bag and a personalised applique cushion. Includes threading and setting up, different stitches, hemming, applique, and making and joining pieces of a simple pattern. This is based on learning on a machine you own but if you don't have one, no problem. We have pool of typical entry-level machines available to hire for an additional £8 for the course. Max 6 students. It runs on Monday early evenings 4.45 - 6.15 pm on 17th, 24th June and 1st July at 39 High St, Staple Hill BS16. This is a drop-off course but a carer may stay if that works better with your child. Just let us know so we can plan the layout.
