Jewellery & Silversmithing
We have various jewellery options throughout the year, each specialising in a certain technique or material.
Silversmithing classes are by French Jewellery School La Vidalerie and Silver and Copper Clay workshops by local artisans, Bristol Papillon.
Silver Clay Jewellery
Design and make jewellery using silver clay with Bristol Papillion. This workshop is taught over two consecutive weeks so that you can go away with a finished piece. You will learn about silver and copper clay, make and cast your own moulds from natural materials and fire your piece(s). Includes enough silver clay for one or two pendants, a freshwater pearl for finishing & refreshments. Some workshops are taught over 2 consecutive weeks to allow you to get more creative.
Silversmithing Classes UPDATE
La Vidalerie are based in France and the current uncertainty with travel means all these classes have now been cancelled and students refunded. This is heartbreaking for all involved and we very much hope to welcome them in 2021 when life is more predictable.
