Service Description
Go home from this one-day workshop with your own sturdy footstool! Using a combination of traditional and modern techniques you will assemble the frame and upholster it with fabric of your choice. You'll be able to make buttons to customise your design or leave it plain. Use wooden legs for a more traditional look or hairpin legs for a mid-century style. All materials are supplied except the top fabric. You will need to bring 1m of upholstery fabric of your own or you may order from any of our fabric brands at a discounted rate. The standard frame is 45x36cm but you can order an alternative larger size of 60x30cm which is an additional £5. There is also choice of several leg styles included in the price and an option to upgrade to taller or fancier legs for £5 - £10. We will contact you prior to the day with all the options. There is a maximum of 5 students per class, each with their own workbench and tools. Everyone will get plenty of help and pls check out our Instagram and Facebook pages to see examples of previous students' finished projects! Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring your own lunch or make use of one of the great cafes on North St.
