This course is an ideal follow-on from Beginners Machine Sewing. Learn how to read and understand commercial patterns and the foundation techniques for making your own clothes while making a cosy pair of pyjama bottoms. Included in the price is a Simplicity commercial pattern with various his/hers nightwear designs which you can take away and re-use. You will get to grips with waistbands, hemming, joining straight and curved seams as well as guidance on sewing with jersey. Just bring your choice of fabric (1.5m) and a matching thread. Taught by experienced pattern cutter and fashion industry insider Jennifer Mills. There is a max of 6 students per class, and each student has an individual workstation. This class is designed for students with basic sewing machine experience and taught on your own machine but if you do not have access to one we have some available for hire. 3 weeks on Monday evenings from 4th July 7-9.15pm
