Batik Workshop - Make a Silk Scarf

In this class designed for adults and teenagers you will create patterned silk fabrics using hot wax and liquid paints.

Using delicate silk as a base, you will learn to:

  • Apply silk paint evenly

  • Print abstract patterns using wax

  • Layer colours and patterns to create a unique design

  • Remove the wax safely

You will make a practice piece, plus a silk scarf that you can wear or use in a sewing project. £45
