A follow on from Get to Know Your Sewing Machine, or if you have some basic sewing machine skills, an ideal next step. Hannah will be helping you get started with making your own clothes, sewing pyjama shorts and making a simple skirt from a block pattern. £85 for 4 weeks. 7.30-9.30pm

If you feel like you're in need of some relaxation, but struggle to do ‘nothing’, ‘Mindful Doing’ could be just the thing. In collaboration with local creative Lottie Suki, we're running six weekly sessions of chilled out creativity, giving you the opportunity to slow down, re-energise, and nourish your creative side. Suitable for complete beginners, we'll be taking a pressure-free and meditative approach to creating. Book as many or as few sessions as you like.
Stitch Club 3
Fabric Printing and Sew your own Cushion
Wednesdays from 6th November
Experiment with different printing techniques and use your designs to sew your own cushion cover.
This is a 4-week after school club 5.30-7pm. £70 for the 4 week course. 9-13yrs
Mandalas for Mindfulness
Wednesday 30th October 6-8pm
Although they may look intimidating, the art of drawing mandalas is a very relaxing, meditative one. No previous drawing skill is necessary. This workshop by Boop Illustration is all about letting go of preconceived rules and limitations of artistry and getting lost in the flow of creating. £22.50

Beginners Machine Knitting
Sun 20th October 10am-4.30pm
A one-day workshop with Ria Burns Knitwear in machine knitting for complete beginners. You'll learn the basics of using a knitting machine, including punch cards for pattern, and you'll go home with plenty of swatches and a scarf made using the techniques you've learnt on the day. £90
The workshop will be using Brother knitting machines and all equipment and yarns are provided. Max 4 participants
Sew Scrumptious Pop-Up Shop

Local online fabric company Sew Scrumptious will be back in October with their hugely popular bricks and mortar pop-up shop. They have a huge range of fab and funky dressmaking and craft fabrics, plus dressmaker Rachel will be on hand to help with any queries on the day.
Fused Glass Bristol Balloons
Come and experience the enticing medium of glass in our fused glass taster workshop! Design and create a Bristol balloon fused glass sun-catcher using a variety of pre-cut glass and accessories in an array of beautiful colours. Fired pieces can be posted or collected from Creative Space

Fused Glass Coasters
This taster fused glass workshop is for beginners and will give you an introduction to kiln-formed glass. You will create 2 coasters using pre-cut glass and glass accessories in an array of colours. You will also learn about ‘inclusions’ by adding some metal into your design. After the workshop your coasters are kiln fired and delivered back approximately 2 weeks later. The coasters are presented in a gift box so would make a perfect gift.

Design & Make your own Winter Coat
Learn how to cut a pattern to your own design and measurements and make up your own winter coat. Some sewing experience is preferable. You will need to bring your own sewing machine to some sessions plus fabric and trimming. Tuesday evenings 17th Sept to 12th November 7-9pm.

Monochrome Print Workshop
This is a great chance to introduce yourself to printmaking in a playful, spontaneous way or expand your practice as an artist. Beginners and more experienced artists welcome. The focus will be on experimenting and playing, but you will learn how to roll ink out and take an impression, making layers, textures and drifts of colour as well as adding detail with various techniques including stamps and stencils. You will leave with several prints as well as the knowledge and skills to start making prints at home. £50 all materials included. Next dates tbc
Get to Know Your Sewing Machine - Sewing for Beginners
If you have a sewing machine lying around that you don't really know how to use or have no confidence with, this is the class for you. Taught over 4 Wednesday evenings from 4th September, you will learn all the basic stitches, threading, tension and complete a few small projects to practice seaming, hemming, inserting zips and all the necessary skills to start you sewing. £80 for 4 weeks.
Dichroic Fused Glass Jewellery
Make your own unique and beautiful item in gorgeous fused glass. Suitable for complete beginners as well as those who’ve caught the fused glass bug! The price includes a pendant or brooch. You can make more items for an additional charge payable on the day. You will have up to 1.5 hours to create your masterpiece(s). Next dates tbc.

Peg Loom Weaving - Weave a Rug
Peg looms are a great way to weave beautiful chunky, cosy rugs. In this workshop, you will spend a relaxing couple of hours making your own wool rug using thick wool selvedge yarn from a variety of colours and textures of yarn. The rug will be 22 inches wide, length depending on speed of weaving! Run by Caroline of Big Sky Textiles.

This 3 and a half hour workshop is designed for complete beginners and those who are a little rusty and ideal for bringing a child who might want to learn how to make their own little monster. You will the basics of crochet through the Japanese art of Amigurumi - making small stuffed yarn toys.

Make a Terrarium
Get back to nature and learn how to build your own miniature world. You will learn about the history of terrariums, what plants suit them and how to care for your own eco-system. All tools and materials are provided for you to take home your own terrarium so you can watch your ideal environment continue to thrive.
