Drawing and Printing Workshops

Have a go at low-tech drypoint etching without lots of equipment or chemicals. From your initial drawings we will scratch the images into a range of materials to create permanent plates - these will be inked up in a variety of ways using water-soluble inks then a print taken from them using a mini printing press.

Suitable for all levels of experience. £20

Use tools to scratch your own designs into a printing plate, ink up with scrim and run through our mini 'printing press' to create your own A6 works of Art. 

All materials provided. This class is taught by experienced school art teacher Kate Miller.

Make your own Bristol Balloon Print

With Slow Sunday

You'll not only learn the techniques to make the artwork but will leave the session with your very own A3 print. 

The workshops are also designed to offer a slice of time away from your busy and hectic schedules to spend a couple of hours at a slower pace. This adult only workshop (16 yrs+) will guide you through cutting paper stencils and using printmaking inks and rollers to create a beautiful piece of artwork. 

Suitable for all levels of experience, from total beginner to experienced artist looking to explore new techniques.

All materials are provided. £35

Get to grips with the fundamentals of paper-cutting, focus your mind, steady your hand and enjoy a serene sense of achievement.

Sarah will guide you through this creative and therapeutic experience. Sharing her knowledge on this centuries-old and ever-evolving art form. You will learn all the techniques and tips to create your own artwork to take home. £27 - all materials included. 16+
