The Printmaking Playground 
A 4-week Intro to Printmaking

Come and join Liz from Slow Sunday Studio for this playful and uplifting series of workshops with a focus on low-tech printmaking. During the 4 sessions you will be introduced to a number of printmaking techniques and given the space to explore each one. You will go home with a variety of prints each week and given the time to make a final piece of work in your chosen method for the last session. Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 9pm 16+ £140

Spring & Summer Paper Cutting

Get to grips with the fundamentals of paper-cutting in this crafty experience. Focus your mind, steady your hand and enjoy a serene sense of achievement.

Sarah will show you all the top techniques and tips you need to know, before embarking on your own artistic journey. Learn how to feel confident using a craft knife and about the types of paper which are perfect for this art form.

Sarah will provide you with a template to cut around, which will allow you to hone your skills and craft. Immerse yourself into a deep meditative state, as your craft knife work away at your mesmerising design. Step away with an ornate and show-stopping creation to dazzle your friends with or frame on your wall. £30

Make your own Bristol Balloon Print

With Slow Sunday

You'll not only learn the techniques to make the artwork but will leave the session with your very own A3 print. 

The workshops are also designed to offer a slice of time away from your busy and hectic schedules to spend a couple of hours at a slower pace. This adult only workshop (16 yrs+) will guide you through cutting paper stencils and using printmaking inks and rollers to create a beautiful piece of artwork. 

Suitable for all levels of experience, from total beginner to experienced artist looking to explore new techniques.

All materials are provided. £35

Drawing & Printing for Beginners

A great workshop to introduce you to the world of drypoint! In drypoint printmaking, a design is drawn or scratched on a plate with a sharp needle-like instrument, inked up and run through a printing press- making each print truly one-of-a-kind. Treat yourself to some relaxing me-time and leave feeling revived.

Paint & Print Kids Club - 6Yrs +
*School Holiday Sessions*

If your little ones enjoy mucking about with art and crafts, this experience will be right up their street! In this two-hour workshop, your child can use a range of paints and inks to create their own artwork. Kate is an experienced art teacher who loves sharing her knowledge with others.

Each event will vary slightly but will include a selection of:

block printing with inks and rollers, watercolour painting, marbling, acrylic painting & fabric painting and printing.

This is perfect for your child to build on their artistic skills, learn something new, and experiment in an encouraging group. £20 all materials included.

Create Summertime Inspired Linoprints

This workshop gives you all the skills and equipment you need for linocut printmaking. Kate is big on simple techniques which provide striking results. She'll break down this creative printing process step-by-step. From composing your design to cutting and printing your block, and using a fantastic 'Little Thumper' printing press for the best results.

This workshop is perfect for all levels and abilities, with no experience needed. All materials, tools, tea and coffee are included - just bring along yourself and the urge to try something new! £40 Age 14+
